Mary R. Hardin

With diverse experience as a practicing real estate attorney, developer and not-for-profit board member, Mary assists a broad spectrum of Levien & Company’s clients with site selection, lease and purchase negotiation, land use issues, public, private and tax credit financing, community approvals, market studies, and not-for-profit governance.

Prior to joining Levien & Company in 2007, Mary's experience included development of projects ranging from 10,000 to 1.5 million SF and $5 million to over $600 million. She has practiced as a lawyer with Kramer Levin and The City of New York, and accrued extensive development experience working at Oppenheimer Properties (VP), Hardin & Partners (founder), The Alliance for Downtown New York, MacFarlane Partners, TMG Partners (Partner), BRIDGE Housing, and Housing and Services, Inc. Mary has also been active in the community including board membership with The Henry George School of Social Science, Housing and Services, Inc., The New York City Police Museum (Founding Trustee), Musical Theater Works (Treasurer), and En Garde Arts. 

Mary has a J.D. degree from The University of Chicago Law School and a B.A. (with distinction) from Carleton College.
