Hannah Senesh Day School |
The K-8 school in Brooklyn outgrew its rented building and purchased a 22,000 SF 1960-vintage school building from the City Board of Education. The project involved a complete gut renovation of the building. The building also sits directly over the subway, requiring intensive coordination with the MTA. The new program for the space included a new gym, new food servery, a new facade, new MEP systems and a third floor addition.
