Reingold Pavilion at the Hebrew Home for the Aged in Riverdale
Riverdale, NY
A new state-of-the-art residential nursing facility with 172 beds in a 6-story (including basement) complex, the 180,000 SF structure is attached to two existing buildings. The buildings include a lounge, beauty parlor, winter garden, solarium, multipurpose room, rehabilitation area with an aquatic therapy program and a community room. In addition, L&C oversaw the implementation of portions of their landscape master plan, which took into account sensitivity to site constraints on the riverfront cliff area. The project required special certificate-of-need (from the State) and approval by HUD. The schedule was very tight with a strict TCO date, and the budget was held to satisfy lender requirements.
